Feng Shui House Direction

Proper Feng Shui house direction will bring prosperity, health and success into your home. Therefore it is very important to select a good place to live.

You can determine good house direction by looking at the roads, rivers, hills and houses near the home you want to buy. Pay special attention to the roads that are near your house. They determine the movement of chi (life energy).

Some house and road combinations are very favourable, however there are more unfavourable than favourable ones. Below you can see the pictures of various road and house combinations. Check the location of your house to determine which picture it corresponds to and then you will be able to make appropriate decisions.

Feng Shui house direction: road and house combinations

1.Dead-end street Feng Shui House Direction

The most dangerous combination there is. The energy of chi rushes straight into your house creating huge imbalance.

2.Corner of the road

Feng Shui House Direction

This is not the best place to live, but definitely much better than in the first example. The house is surrounded by roads on one side, and there are no roads on the other side. That may create imbalance in your home. You may feel at such home as though something is missing in your life – and that is namely balance.

3.Y-junction Feng Shui House Direction

This is also not a good place to live because two negative chi energy currents are passing by your house.

4.T-junction Feng Shui House Direction

It is also a bad place to live because the negative chi energy is pointed straight at your home.

5.Straight road Feng Shui House Direction

This is a good place to live because this road positioning creates balance. However, if such road is busy, that may mean opportunities and good events passing you by. You may feel left out of the action. The quieter the straight road, the more balanced the energies in your home will be.

6.U-shape Feng Shui House Direction

This is a bad place to live. The deeper the house is inside the u-shaped road, the worse the situation is. If you live in such house, you may feel as though you are missing out on everything and you generally feel negative.

7.Roundabout Feng Shui House Direction

This is one of the best places to live because the road shaped this way allows chi energy move in circular motions creating perfect balance. The grass (or earth) surface in the middle buffers all bad energies and creates amazing atmosphere. Even without the different middle surface, this is a great area for your house.

8.Semi-straight road Feng Shui House Direction

If the road is just a bit curved and it curves around your house, it is also a great area to live. The chi energy is not too focused because the road is not entirely straight, and that allows chi to travel slowly bringing you wealth, health and success.

9.Sharp bend Feng Shui House Direction

It is an unfavourable place to live because chi energy culminates when it reaches the most extreme spot on the curve – where the house is.

If you have found that your current house is located in an unfavourable place, do not worry. There are things you can do in your home which can help balance the energy, such as balancing five elements and making sure that yin and yang have equal representations.
