Feng Shui FishFeng Shui fish is a symbol of wealth and success. They are best placed near the entrance of your home. However, not all kinds of fish represent abundance and success. If you have a pond near your home, it is beneficial to keep fish there as they will energise positive chi that the pond emanates. If you keep fish figurines, it is good to have them of porcelain. You may see that some fish figurines come with a fisherman. This is also a great figurine to have. If you have real fish, make sure that the water for them is always clean. If a fish dies, replace it immediately although a dead fish does not create bad luck as, for example, dead plants do. Fish not only symbolise success and wealth, but also academic achievements. However, fish symbolising such achievements are shown differently to other Feng Shui fish. Such fish will be shown swimming upstream to be transformed into a dragon. You can also have a fish as a subject in a painting or painted on a vase. It should have the same effect as a real fish or a figurine. The best place to display fish is near the front entrance or on the living room table. However, be aware of the placement of a fish pond or aquarium near the entrance. They should never be placed on the right side of the door (on the right, that is, as you look out of the door) because that can cause quarrels and unfaithfulness in marriage (although it will keep bringing wealth).
Arowanas, also known as aruanas, are not easy to find. They are tropical fish which are native to the jungles of Indonesia, Thailand, Borneo and Indonesia. It is best to keep them single, in threes or fives and there should not be any other fish in aquarium. They should be kept on a special diet which makes their scales turn gold and pink, which is a sign that money is about to come to your home. They are expensive fish to keep but will be worth every penny because of the amount of wealth they will bring.
