Feng Shui Colors

Auspicious And Inauspicious Feng Shui Colors

In Feng Shui there are some general colors which enhance every home. For example, light colors are considered better than dark colors because they create more energy and positivity.

Red is also quite a safe color. It brings happiness and it is a color which you will frequently see in Chinese weddings.

Very dark colors are usually inauspicious unless you were born in the wood or water element year.

Your Personal Colors

To find out your personal colors, firstly you need to find out which element is yours. To do that, you need to check which element rules the year you were born. You can check this here.

To determine which colors suit you, you also need to understand how five elements interact with each other.

If you were born in the fire year, then fire element color suits you (red) and the wood element colors suit you (purple, green and gold).

If you were born in the earth year, then earth (yellow and brown) and fire (red) colors suit you.

If you were born in the metal year, then earth (yellow and brown) and metal (bright colors, pastel and white) colors suit you.

If you were born in the water year, then metal (bright, pastel and white) and water (black, dark blue) colors suit you.

If you were born in the wood year, then water (black and dark blue) and wood (purple, green and gold) colors suit you.
